This is one refreshing cocktail. It’s 100% handcrafted and it looks pretty too!
I had been toying with the idea of flavoring vodka and this is my first try. I love the way it turned out and I can’t wait to try more. It was easier than you’d think. I added some fresh blueberries to a mason jar and muddled them a bit with a spoon to break them open but not smoosh them. I filled the jar with vodka and let it sit in the fridge for a day, swirling it a couple times throughout the day. After 24 hours the vodka had turned a pretty purple color. I strained the blueberries and used those in our cocktails. We couldn’t let them go to waste!
We also skewered some blueberries and put them in the freezer. They make a cute little swizzle stick, right?

- 1/8 cup fresh blueberries
- Put blueberries and sugar in a cocktail glass and stir together. Fill with ice.
- Add vodka and lemonade; stir and serve.
- To infused vodka, place 3/4 cup of fresh blueberries in a jar with a lid. Press down with a fork or spoon to open them a bit and release the flavors. Fill jar with vodka and place in refrigerator overnight. Strain blueberries out before using.
