Salted Chocolate Chip Cookies

Salted Chocolate Chip Cookies

I always have a jar in my kitchen filled with cookies. Every body knows it and they flock to it when they come over. Usually they are these simple chocolate chip cookies that everyone loves. I wanted to see if I could make them even better with another layer of flavor so I added a sprinkle of sea salt to the tops when they were done baking. The addition of sea salt just takes the cookies flavor to another level. They are sweet and delicious and then you taste the salt which is so unexpected.  They are my new cookie jar staple.
